Best Google Acquisition Ever: ANDROID

Google's Vice-President of corporate development David Lawee told attendee at Stanford Accel Symposium that ANDROID was Googles best acquisition ever.
No exact figures are know but is rumored that Google pay around $50 millions for Android, Inc in 2005 when the company was just 22 months old.
Mr. Lawee admits that he has some initial doubts about the acquisition and that he remembers saying one time "I hope this guy does something" after seen Andy Rubin on the hall.
Andy Rubin was Android, Inc co-founder and who has previously started Danger, Inc famously know for the technology on T-Mobile Sidekick series. Danger, Inc was acquired by Microsoft (and recently shut down).
Rubin stayed with Google after Android, Inc was acquired showing that the deal when well. He 's current position at Google is VP of Engineering overseeing Android.
