Apple iPad Pre-Ordes Start March 12th Sales April 3rd

Apple finally announced the Apple iPad official launch date. At least for the US. The iPad will be available for pre-order on March 12th.

The official launch date is April 3rd. This falls in a Saturday so no need to take the day off from work in order to make a line.

The April 3rd launch date is for the wifi only model the 3G will be released late April but pre-orders can be made starting the 12th as well.

The pre-orders model will ship from Apple.com but for the 3G version you may opt to have it pick up at the store.
