Android Market Now Over 1 Billion Downloads

Google announced today the more than a billion apps had been downloaded from the Android Market. This is a impressive number and it shows the momentum Android is having.

Also the android market has surpased the 100,000 mark. This I consider to be more impressive becouse just three months ago thier were just 50,000 apps.

So in just 90 days Android managed to double it applications portfolio and adding the one billion downloads this is good news for everyone except Apple, Nokia and Rim.
