UPDATE: The FCC announced that it will investigate this new fee but shortly after Verizon backed down and announced it will not put the new charge in to effect. It was a stupid move from the start.
I have always ask my self why do people keep paying Verizon does crazy fees and how Verizon gets away wit with it.
Verizon may have better reception in some markets just like any other carrier but that do not justify they having the most expensive price for everything and when they match a price they give you less or with more restriction.
But I guess they figure out there are so many lemmings in their reality distortion field that they can get away with it.
So they started looking around to find out were they can suck more out their customer's wallet and came to the coclusion that everyone has to pay the monthly bil.l So why not charge for that to?
Yup they are going to start charging you $2 so you can pay their already excessive bill. Unless you bent over more and sing up for Autopay or ACH debit. You know so they can automatically debit your bank account when they send a "shock bill" for a couple of thousands. Sounds like extortion to me.
