Apple & Google To Fight For InterDigital Inc [patents]

After Apple and a consortium beat Google to the Nortel Patent auction by paying $4.5 billions Google started to look elsewhere.

And it dint took long to find someone else. Because InterDigital Inc a King of Prussia, PA company with over 1,300 patents in the mobile space started looking for suitors as IP in mobile are so saw after.

But things may get messy again. According to Bloomberg Apple is also looking at InterDigital and its patent. Wish the company claim are more stronger than that's of Nortel.

If Google wants to get back in the game they will need to pay big money for InterDigital and if Apple counter bid someone may end overpaying and I bet this time it will be Google.

I just hope Google gets this one. As it will strength Android against Apple, Oracle & Microsoft. That in turn will make Apple innovate faster and I really like that.

I don't give a heck about WP7 but I want iOS and Android to thrive. That will give Apple user like my self a better iPhone and Android user like my daughter a better Android.
