Grand Apple Store Coming To Grand Central

Apple has signed a ten year agreement with New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority at $800,000 a year to open a new flagship store on Grand Central. Apple lease with MTA is almost three times more than what the restaurant in the same location paid before it.

This will be Apple's largest store with 23,000 square foot 3,000 foot more that it current largest store. Current Apple store range from 1,000 to 6,000 square foot and the flagships stores in NY, London & China are around 17,000 square foots.  

No word yet on when the new store will open on Midtown Manhattan Grand Central Terminal located at 42nd Street and Park Avenue but I am sure Apple will take its time to make it grand.
