Did Samsung Surpassed Apples iPhone? & Leaked New Slider [poll]

Exclusive Unnamed Samsung Android slider headed for AT&T (BGR)Well first was Apple vs RIM then Apple vs Nokia and now is a full blowout war between Apple & Samsung.

This two power-houses of the technology world are entrenched in legal and commercial battles all related to there smartphones business.

While Apple still one of Samsung largest customers they are doing more fighting than ever before and the latest battle is the title for top smarthphone seller.

For the last couple of years Nokia had the bragging rights for been the top smarphone seller. But this past quarter Apple surpass them becoming the number one seller of smarthphones. Or not.

Some analyst are predicting that Samsung may have actually sold more smartphones than Apple in the latest quarter. Between 17 & 21 millions. Apple sold 20.34 iPhone millions in the latest quarter.

This won't be that much surprising because Samsung has been aggressively pushing its devices to every carrier and offering them very steep discounts.

Its fair to point out that Apple has only two smartphones available the two year old iPhone 3GS and the one year old iPhone 4 while Samsung has been dropping new models every other month.

And it seem more are incoming this morning BGR got its hands on a new mystery slider from Samsung. No word yet on name or specs but is headed to At&t according to BGR sources.
