Omar Morales A lot of people thin that the introduction of the iMac in 1998 was what saved Apple. Apple haters even go as far as to said that Microsoft investment saved Apple.
But while the iMac helped Apple a lot what really saved Apple and send it in its way to become the largest company in the world was the introduction of the iPod.
And this month the very same month in witch Apple became the largest company in the world is the ten year anniversary of that introduction.
Looking at the video when Steve Jobs make the announcement is so weird. There is jus a small crowd compare to the most recent keynotes and the way Jobs describe why they are getting into the MP3 business, with the security that he claim they will dominate and revolutionize is amazing.
Because it does dominate until this date and the only thing that cannibalized iPod sales is the iPhone with its own iPod soul.
