Omar Morales On today's economy there are 6 job seeker for every 1 job available. Understanding what employers are looking is key to landing a job.
Employers are heavily relaying on Social Media for recruiting in fact 89% of employers had used social media when recruiting.
In fact 33% of applicants are rejected because of what employers see on their profiles and many employer believe that the candidates should make their profile more employee friendly.
I for one believe that this is a grossly over invasion of peoples privacy. We are not our jobs or we are at our jobs like we are in our personal time. For that same reason I will recommend social networks that offer better privacy controls like Google+

It looks quite interesting that most of companies or hr managers do some kind of net investigation before hiring a employee. Then there should a term to refer this kind of net investigation. Ahh...... let me think. What about "netgation". Looks pretty cool to me.
