One of them was BoingBoing I have been a BoingBoing reader for years and I have to give them credit for always been in the look for things that matters.

But I have also been very disanointed at some of their actions and borderline fanaticism. I have come to find BoingBoing a hypocrite site when it come to defending censorship. The site is always attacking others they believe are censoring and manipulating information. And that's a good thing but when they start to censor & attack others for having a different opinions that's just plain wrong.

BoingBoing have an almost fanatic devotion to been Pro-Choice (Pro-Abortion). This is not an attack on their choice in the abortion issue just on the way they defend it. I have big big issues with fanatics of any kind as I believe it blind other way rational people into myopic ones that only want to see what they believe. This go to Pro-Liferes, Pro-Choice, Religions and political fanatics among many others.

I also have issues with censorship of any kind. I don't like when others try to censor the true just because they don't like it or because is just not what they like. It's even worst when you are suppose to be a anti-censorship champion like BoingBoing paint itself.

So here is the issue that push me over. Every time BoingBoing posted a pro abortion article it will censor any comments made with a different opinion. When someone make an argument against abortion it will result in the censoring of that comment even when the comment were non confrontational or pro-choice fanaticism just a different opinion to what BoingBoing posted.

I had always believed that everyone with an opinion should be able to express it in a civilized & respectful manner and be free to express it without fear of attack, mockery or censorship. I don't like when people try by any means to push their believe onto others like many but not all pro-choice and pro-lifers do.

So is just sad that a site with a well know anti-censorship stand resort to censorship just to defend its own opinion. That's why I no longer go to BoingBoing or recommend them.

Nice Time-lapse Video From Earth Taken From The International Space Station [video]

What can I say?
But I guess I will have to scratch Google out as reading the term of service makes my skin crawl. Here are exerps from Dropbox, Microsoft Skydrive and Google Drive term of service.

I like many love your service and have been really useful for the last couple of years. But like many I have always have a an issue with your lackluster plans. $100 for a mere 50GB or $200 for a 100GB is not enough.

But what serious alternative we had? Box? SuharSync? I don't know abiut other but Box is to limited unless you pony for extras and SugarSync is not for me I don't know how is today but back in 2009 it failed me.

So for the last 3 years I had stick with Dropbox always watching my usage and deleting files not to reach my 100Gb limit.

But 2012 is a revelation year with iCoud, SkyDrive & Google Drive entering the market Dropbox you need to rethink your strategy. I will be testing SkyDrive & Google Drive soon and if they live up to the hype I maybe getting my self a better deal.

$60 for a 100GB on Google Drive and $50 for a 100gb with SkyDrive are pretty competitive prices. I know you got a great service and still are the market leader but the reality is that as of today there are stronger competitors with better prices and strong services.

I hope you see the new reallity and make some adjustment before becoming the RIM & Nokia of the cloud sync.

Craigslist Planning Its Own Mobile App & Site Redesign

Millions of people use Craigslist everyday and I bet most of them find Craigslist UI really outdated useful but outdated.

I know moving from Things to Wunderlist was a downgrade but at first I was happy to have all my To Do's in sync between my many Macs, my iPhone and iPad.

But eventually the reality sets in and I found my self considering restarting my Things addiction as I needed more features that what Wunderlist can offer (I haven't try the new Wunderkit yet).

Just to be clear Wunderlist is an amazing app and for a big majority of user its all they need and the best part is the price FREE.

Things apps were good but they just slacked to much on inplementing the sync function.

But I needed a bit more so I decided to finally try OmniFocus. I had research it many times but the price always hold me back.

I don't only buy one version I get the Mac, iPhone & iPad version so the total is $140. I started with the Trial version of OmniFocus (purchased the licence 12 hours later). For the first 30 minutes I was kind of lost as I was so use to Things workflow. But after that I felt in love so I decided to go with step two and three downloading the iPhone & iPad versions.

I then downloaded the iPhone app as having your To Do's always with you is the most important part at least for me. The iPhone app worked perfectly and syncing with the Mac version was a piece of cake. Finally I downloaded the iPad version and I was impress once again. I mean the iPad version is amazing the UI is beautiful and intuitive an A+.

To finalize I will said that the only drawback to OmniFocus so far was the price $79.99 for the Mac version, $39.99 for the iPad & $19.99 for the iPhone. Not so bad for this great apps but a bit of a hard pill to swallow for someone that already had invested $80 on all the Things apps.

But since that price issue is already over me all I have left are three great apps that work perfectly and are making my workflow so much easy.

But I was sitting on a table with one laying right in front of me so I decided to take a look.

The front story was about a guy that killed a police officer that he allege trespassed on his property and was arm.

While I don't think there was any justification for him to kill the officer I was shock with the DA & judge actions.

According to the constitution anyone accuse of a crime should be presume innocent until proven guilty.

Something that rarely happens in our "joke justice system".

But that's a whole different story and something I see every day. What really shock me is that I had always believed someone accuse of a crime should be free to use the best defence he can and the one he chooses to. The DA jobs is to prove that he's defense is not valid.

But here is what actually happens.

The guy wanted to use "self defense" as he's defense. And regardless of he's reasoning I believe he should be allowed to and the DA should prove him wrong.

But instead what happen was that the DA asked the Judge and the Judge agree to prohibit him from using "self defense" as he's defense.

What?

How can you be restrain in what type of defense you can use for what is possible a death sentence charge? How can a DA and a Judge decide what you can use as a defense?

I found this to be really terrifying. You and your lawyer should be the one deciding your best defence not a judge and for sure not the DA.

I really believe our "justice" system is a joke and this case just added more weigh to that believe.
