Target Dumb At Selling Apple iPads
Friday, June 17, 2011 at 12:58PM Omar Morales I am making this post from inside a Target store I am in a hurry so pardon any spelling.
I just have to write this now because something this embarrassing can't wait I need to have the details fresh.
A lady call one of the Target employees on the electronics department and point him to the iPads section.
Then she ask him what was the difference between an iPad and a B&N Nook.
The Target employee says:
"ummm not sure I guess they do mostly the same but the iPad I think is better"
Yeah right mostly the same I don't think so.
Then the lady ask why were different prices for the iPad.
And here goes another priceless answer:
"uhhhhh ahhhhh I guess is for the color because you see they also come in white"
He then preceded to open the display and take a white model out to show her.
She pointed that she wasn't sure it was just because of the color.
And the only smart answer so far came afterwards
"I honestly don't know"
The lady smiles said thanks and left.
Someone at Target should be training this kids before dumping them at the electronics department.
